A Nigerian truck driver, Bode Ologan, who resided in Arlington, Texas, was reportedly found dead inside his vehicle on November 7, 2025, a tragic incident that immediately sparked an urgent social media appeal to locate his relatives. Following the initial discovery, associates created a GoFundMe appeal, titled “Help Bode Ologan’s Family in Their Grief,” which identified the deceased as a loving father of three children—Semilore, Semilogo, and Semilola—and sought to raise $30,000 for funeral arrangements ahead of the November 20 burial.

As the news spread, community members and acquaintances like Emem Akpabio and Josely Pueten poured out tributes on social media, underscoring the difficult and “risky job” of truck driving and adding that Ologan’s death reflects a “recurring pattern of tragedies involving Nigerians abroad.”
