Tinubu Will Come Third In 2027 Presidential Election – El-Rufai
Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will finish third in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, El-Rufai said Tinubu has “no pathway to win,” stressing that the poll may not be decided in the first ballot.
“Tinubu will be third in the 2027 election. I have done my maths and I can tell you Tinubu has no pathway to win. The worst-case scenario is that there will not be any winner in the first ballot,” he said.
El-Rufai, who recently defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), argued that Nigeria has not witnessed any improvements under Tinubu’s administration.
APC Wins 20 LGAs In Rivers Council Poll
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won 20 out of 23 local government areas in the just-concluded council elections in Rivers State.
The results were announced on Sunday by the Chairman of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), Michael Ekpai Odey.
According to the declaration, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured victory in three LGAs. Suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara and some PDP leaders were absent from the polls.
