Troops Repel Boko Haram, ISWAP Attack in Borno

Attempts by terrorists to launch coordinated attacks on the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Kangar, located at Mallam Fatori in Borno State, were repelled with several insurgents killed, the Nigerian Army said. According to military reports, troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Joint Task Force North East, foiled the early Tuesday attack by Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters.


Court Orders PDP to Proceed with Ibadan National Convention

An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has directed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to go ahead with its national convention scheduled for November 15–16, 2025. Justice Ladiran Akintola issued the order following an ex parte application by PDP chieftain Folahan Malomo Adelabi in suit number I/1336/2025.
