26 Rescued, 25 Missing in Sokoto Boat Mishap

Twenty-six passengers have been rescued while 25 remain missing after a boat accident in Sokoto State, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed on Monday.

The agency said the vessel, which was carrying 51 passengers along with goods and motorcycles, capsized mid-river.


Son of Boko Haram Founder Arrested in Chad

Six suspected Boko Haram members have been arrested in Chad, including Muslim Mohammed Yusuf, son of the late sect founder Mohammed Yusuf.
