Nigerians in the diaspora have expressed support for President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 election.
At a dinner held at the Presidential Banquet Hall in Abuja, Ade Omole, former Director of the defunct APC Diaspora Directorate, announced the endorsement.
“This is not praise singing, but truth telling,” Omole said. “There comes a moment in the life of every nation when progress must not only be pursued, but also honoured.”
The event, themed “Two years of impact,” aimed to mark the Tinubu administration’s mid-term milestone.
Omole praised the administration’s accomplishments in economic reforms, infrastructure, education, security, and foreign investment.
“Real leadership doesn’t seek applause, it seeks results,” he stated.
He urged unity and deeper engagement from Nigerians abroad.
“The future is not something we wait for, it is something we build together,” he added.
APC chieftain Hajia Khairat Animashaun-Ajiboye seconded the motion.
