A lawyer representing Nigerian table tennis star Aruna Quadri has revealed that Nigerians raised N10 million in just four days to support the athlete’s Olympic preparation. The lawyer, John Olatunji, disclosed this during a media briefing, highlighting the overwhelming public support.
“It’s incredible. Nigerians came through with N10 million in just four days,” he said.
The funds are intended to cover training and logistics ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics. Olatunji expressed gratitude on behalf of Quadri, adding that the donations reflect a renewed national spirit of solidarity and support for athletes representing Nigeria globally.
