The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has declared President Bola Tinubu’s first two years a failure, citing worsening hardship from subsidy removal, inflation, and naira devaluation. NLC President Joe Ajaero accused the government of recycling “failed neoliberal experiments,” noting fuel prices surged from ₦187 to over ₦600 while wages collapsed. The labour leader highlighted unpaid wage awards and repression of union protests as evidence of policy failure.
