A Federal High Court in Abuja has convicted IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu on three of seven terrorism charges based on prosecution evidence, including video interviews where he allegedly issued violent threats.
A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday convicted the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on three out of the seven terrorism charges brought against him by the Federal Government.
Presiding Judge James Omotosho delivered the ruling after reviewing prosecution evidence, which included video interviews in which Kanu made violent threats against Nigeria and its citizens.
According to the court, these materials provided sufficient grounds for the partial conviction while four other counts were dismissed.
