Tompolo has denied authoring a viral post giving the Federal Government 21 days to release IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, describing it as the work of his enemies.

Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has denied any connection with a social media publication giving the Federal Government 21 days to release detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

In a statement issued by his media consultant, Dr Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo described the post as false and mischievous, alleging it was the handiwork of detractors seeking to undermine his fight against illegal oil activities in the Niger Delta.

He reaffirmed his loyalty to President Bola Tinubu and his continued support for the government’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

“The said publication did not originate from Tompolo,” the statement read. “It is the work of those trying to discredit him. Tompolo remains committed to eradicating illegal oil operations and stands firmly behind President Tinubu’s administration and his second-term bid.”

He urged the public to disregard the false publication.
