NNPCL retail outlets in Abuja, Kogi, and Nasarawa have raised the petrol price to N955 per litre following depot price hikes. This marks a N65 increase from the previous rate.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised the pump price of premium motor spirit to N955 per litre at its retail outlets, up from N890. This N65 increase has been confirmed at stations in Abuja’s Kubwa Expressway and Wuse, as well as parts of Kogi and Nasarawa.

The move follows a weekend hike by independent marketers who adjusted prices to between N950 and N971, after Dangote Refinery increased its ex-depot petrol price from N820 to N858 per litre.
