Speaker Mudashiru Obasa has called on Lagos residents to vote overwhelmingly for APC candidates in the July 12 local government elections.

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has urged Lagosians to vote massively for All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the local government elections scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday, Obasa said APC remains committed to grassroots development and “knows how to make life better for the people.”

“The incoming chairmen and councillors will perform if given the mandate to serve,” he said, adding that the party has fielded trusted candidates who will uphold citizens’ welfare.

At a strategic meeting with APC candidates from Lagos West Senatorial District, Obasa encouraged aggressive door-to-door campaigning and made a financial donation to support their efforts.

“Engage every member of the community, regardless of ethnicity or religion,” he advised, stressing direct supervision of campaign teams and a service-driven approach to governance.

He reassured candidates of continued support from the Assembly and urged them to serve with integrity and uphold democratic values.
