Odumeje insists America is overrated, says Nigeria is better.
Popular Nigerian clergyman, Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, has claimed that the United States is not better than Nigeria. Addressing his congregation,
Odumeje described America as “overhyped,” stressing that “there’s no country better than our own.” He recalled his experience overseas, stating he longed to return home.
“I’ve been to that trending America. Imagine me going to America and requesting to be taken back home. In Nigeria, you come out and greet your neighbours; in America, everybody passes you with no concern,” he said.
