Anxiety has gripped residents of Odigbo, in Odigbo council area of Ondo State, as three headless bodies were discovered floating in a river.
Residents of Odigbo, Ondo State, were thrown into panic after three decapitated bodies were discovered floating in a river along the Odigbo-Ore Old road. The decomposing victims, suspected to have been murdered, were found by locals, heightening fears of kidnapper activity in the area.
An eyewitness, Shileola, a community youth leader, expressed shock, stating, “I rushed to the scene, hoping to identify the victims… but all efforts proved abortive.” He suggested the victims were killed elsewhere and dumped, as no missing persons have been reported. Urging vigilance, he warned residents to stay security-conscious amid the unsettling discovery. Authorities are yet to comment as tension grips the community.
