Pastor Toluwanimi Odukoya has revealed that her marriage ended due to “circumstances beyond her control,” saying the experience deeply impacted her faith and ministry.
Associate Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Toluwanimi Odukoya, has opened up about her marriage breakdown, describing it as a life-changing experience that shaped her spiritual journey.
In an interview shared on her YouTube channel, Odukoya disclosed that her separation was caused by “circumstances beyond my control.” She said, “I’ll say I’m separated. Most of you don’t know I’m separated and that’s actually defined or has shaped my life.” Reflecting on the experience, she likened the end of her marriage to “a death,” noting that she also lost close family members, including her father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, between 2021 and 2023.
She emphasized that separation does not always mean fault, saying, “My ex-husband is a great man… but if God doesn’t ordain you guys to be together and you force-fit yourselves, the likelihood of staying together is very low.” Odukoya credited her family’s support and reaffirmed her commitment to pastoral service despite emotional struggles.
