PHOTOS: Aisha Buhari, family relocate to late husband’s Kaduna home

Former First Lady Aisha Buhari and her family have relocated from Daura, Katsina State, to her late husband Muhammadu Buhari’s residence in Kaduna State.
PUNCH Online gathered that Aisha and her children arrived on Sunday at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, where they were received by the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, and the Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Munira Tanimu.
The residence, located in Ungwan Rimi GRA, had been the former president’s base before his medical trips to London.
Photographs shared on X showed Dr. Balarabe consoling Mrs. Buhari during a prayer session at the Kaduna home.
Buhari himself had moved to the residence in February 2025 after nearly two years in Daura, marking the end of his low-profile post-presidency.
The relocation underscores the Buhari family’s transition as they settle permanently in Kaduna.
