Trade Fair Demolitions Further Expose Peter Obi’s Tribalistic Nature
The same Peter Obi, who yesterday described Nigeria as a “crime scene” because of what he alleged was a high tolerance for criminal behaviour by authorities, is now asking the Lagos State Government to ‘temper justice with mercy’ over the demolition of illegal structures at the Trade Fair Complex.
Do you now see his double standards?
When a matter involves other Nigerians allegedly breaking the law, Peter Obi describes Nigeria as a ‘crime scene’.
However, once his Igbo kith and kin have allegedly broken the law and the long arm of the law catches up with the affected persons, Nigeria is no longer a crime scene, and Peter Obi asks Nigeria to temper justice with mercy.
That is how Peter Obi also falsely accused the Lagos State Government after the legal demolition of parts of Landmark Beach Resort, suggesting that it was done with an ethnic agenda, even when more indigenous Lagosians were affected, including the Oniru family, whose Oniru Beach Resort was also demolished.
Did Peter Obi temper justice with mercy during the many times he demolished illegal structures in Anambra while he was Governor?
When there were demolitions of illegal structures involving Hausa traders at Katangua Market, why did Peter Obi not call for the Lagos State Government to ‘temper justice with mercy’? Why only for his Igbo kin?
Nigeria does not need a clannish and tribalistic fellow, like Peter Obi, as President—a man with one standard for other Nigerians and a better one for his kinsmen.
