Rep Obi Aguocha has praised the DSS and Attorney General for swiftly facilitating medical care for detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Hon. Obi Aguocha, lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, has commended the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Adeola Ajayi, and the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), for swiftly intervening in the medical case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Speaking Thursday in Abuja, Aguocha said Kanu was relocated to a secure medical facility and is receiving care based on his doctors’ advice. He dismissed claims that the IPOB leader lacked proper treatment, stressing that he is personally monitoring his welfare.
“This matter is not solely political or legal. It is fundamentally about human dignity, the sanctity of life, and the supremacy of the rule of law,” Aguocha said.
He further urged a political solution that promotes justice, reconciliation, peace, and stability across the Southeast.
