Sources claim ex-Special Counsel Robert Mueller is in a memory care facility as House Oversight subpoenas him over the Epstein probe.
Robert Mueller, former FBI Director and Special Counsel, is reportedly living in a memory care facility, sources told Real Clear Investigations journalist Paul Sperry. The revelation comes as the House Oversight Committee issued subpoenas to several figures — including Mueller — for testimony related to the FBI’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.
House Oversight Chair James Comer announced Monday that Mueller had been subpoenaed to appear before the Committee on September 2 to answer questions about the Bureau’s actions during the Bush administration.
Sources alleged Mueller has lived in the care facility “for the past few years.” Oversight officials declined to comment on the report but said, “The subpoenas issued are legally binding and duly authorized. As always, the Committee will engage in good faith negotiations with all parties.”
Mueller previously led the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election and authored a report that found no conclusive evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
