Rocket sirens were activated across central Israel and the Nazareth area on Tuesday night following a missile launched from Yemen that was intercepted midair.
About 20 minutes earlier, two rockets fired from Syria exploded in open areas in the southern Golan Heights, triggering alerts in Hispin and Ramat Magshimim. No injuries were reported in either incident.
“This is the first time that alarms have sounded in Hispin since the end of February,” local reports noted. On that earlier occasion, sirens were triggered by a drone intrusion.
Earlier in the day, Syrian sources reported two shells fell on farmland in western Daraa without damage. Another Syrian report alleged Israeli artillery targeted Kuya village in the Daraa countryside.
The coordinated alarms sent millions of Israelis to shelters amid escalating regional tensions. No casualties have been reported as investigations continue.
