The Russian embassy in Poland rejected claims that Russian drones entered Polish airspace, calling Warsaw’s accusations baseless.
The Russian embassy in Poland has dismissed allegations that Russian drones violated the country’s airspace during an attack on western Ukraine. Poland, a NATO member, said 19 drones crossed into its territory, prompting the activation of NATO’s Article 4, which alerts allies to a potential threat.
“The Polish side once again failed to present evidence of the Russian origin of the objects that entered Polish airspace… and completely groundlessly accused Russia of provocative actions,” the embassy told Newsweek.
