Medvedev says Russia won’t give nukes to Iran but insists Iran is pursuing them.
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev tried to clarify his statement that “other countries” might provide Iran with nuclear weapons following Israeli and US strikes on Iranian nuclear missile sites, saying that Russia will not do so, as they – unlike Israel – are signatories to the NPT.
The clarification did not at all address his statement that Iran has been working to develop nuclear weapons this whole time.
