Bukayo Saka and Morgan Rogers starred as England swept past Wales 3–0, continuing their impressive form under Thomas Tuchel.

Bukayo Saka’s stunning long-range strike and Morgan Rogers’ first international goal inspired England to a 3–0 win over Wales in Thursday’s friendly at Wembley.

Thomas Tuchel’s men followed up their 5–0 rout of Serbia last month with another commanding display to extend their winning streak. Rogers opened the scoring in the third minute after Marc Guehi’s alert pass, before his Aston Villa team-mate Ollie Watkins doubled the lead eight minutes later.

Saka produced the highlight of the night, cutting in from the right and curling home a superb 25-yard effort to seal the victory inside 20 minutes — England’s fastest three-goal start since 1987. “It was exactly the kind of swaggering performance” Tuchel had promised when he replaced Gareth Southgate.

With five straight wins in Group K, England are on the verge of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The Three Lions will face Latvia next Tuesday, hoping to confirm their spot in the tournament.
