Two Secret Service officers have been suspended after being caught on camera fighting outside former President Barack Obama’s Washington, D.C., home, officials confirmed Tuesday.
The altercation occurred around 2:30 a.m. on May 21, about two miles northwest of the White House. RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree posted video and audio of the fight, in which one officer is heard saying, “I need a supervisor out here… immediately before I whoop this girl’s ass.”
“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of an on-duty altercation… and this matter is the subject of an internal investigation,” a spokesperson told The Post. “Any behavior that violates our code of conduct is unacceptable.”
The officers involved have been suspended pending the outcome of the probe. The agency declined further comment due to personnel confidentiality.
This is the latest reported misconduct within the Secret Service, following an incident involving an officer assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024.
