The Ogun APC, in a letter dated October 3, 2025, accused Daniel of “continued public disregard for party discipline.”

The Ogun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed that the suspension of Senator Otunba Olugbenga Daniel, representing Ogun East, remains in force, warning that any dealings with him as a party member are invalid.

In a letter to the APC National Chairman, dated October 3, 2025, and signed by State Chairman Chief Yemi Sanusi and Secretary Hon. Tella Aderibigbe, the party cited Daniel’s “continued public disregard for party discipline.”

The party said Daniel was suspended on August 19, 2025, and reminded that, under Article 21 (vii) of the APC Constitution, a suspended member loses all party privileges.

“As part of the disciplinary processes outlined in our constitution, a member suspended pending investigation is expressly barred from participating in the proceedings of any party organ,” the statement noted.

The APC urged all institutions and political actors to desist from recognizing Daniel until the suspension is lifted.
