Sowore accused of owning ₦885m mansion in America: Wike’s aide

A media aide to Nyesom Wike has alleged that Omoyele Sowore owns a $552,000 (≈ N885 million) mansion in the United States.

Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, claimed on Friday that human rights activist Omoyele Sowore owns a mansion valued at $552,000 (about N885 million) in the United States.

Olayinka made the allegation in a post on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, asserting that Sowore is not only the “Chairman of AAC political party” but also its “Sole Proprietor.” He further insisted that Sowore held multiple leadership roles within the party: “He is Presidential Candidate of AAC. He is Financial Secretary of AAC. In fact, he is Sole Proprietor of ACC.”

He added: “He owns a mansion worth $552,000.00 (about N885m) in the US. Na CASHTIVIST Sowore be that. Reason his party members suspended him for CORRUPTION.”
