“I want a rematch, Portable.”
Controversial Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has demanded a rematch after being knocked out by fellow artist Portable in the second round of a celebrity boxing match.
Expressing his dissatisfaction in a video, Speed Darlington claimed Portable did not deserve the win or the prize money.
“Portable, I want a rematch. E dey pain me say you dey carry all that money dey go. E dey break my heart. I want a rematch. It’s so unfair. You have up to two experience before me and you fight. I never enter ring before. I did not come from poverty,” he said.
He further accused Portable of having an unfair advantage due to his prior boxing experience and even hinted at supernatural interference.
“You don’t deserve that money. E dey pain me. I want to build swimming pool for my villagers. I need a rematch, Portable,” he added.
Speed Darlington also claimed he sustained a shoulder injury during the match but insisted he wasn’t tired. He requested 30 days to prepare for a rematch.
