Sule Lamido says he is backing ADC to rescue Nigeria from APC-led democratic decline.

Former governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, says he is supporting the opposition coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to save Nigeria’s democracy.

Speaking during an empowerment programme at the PDP headquarters in Dutse, Lamido said, “Our coming together under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by Senator David Mark is for the unity and progress of the country not for selfish interest.”

He accused the APC-led government of abusing power, suppressing opposition, and eroding democratic values.

“Any patriotic Nigerian who has Nigeria at heart must come together to give his contribution to unseat the present administration in order to save the country and Nigerians from the difficult situation,” he said.

Lamido urged stakeholders to guide and advise for the country’s future, and commended PDP lawmakers from Jigawa for upholding party values.

Senator Mustapha Khabeeb also disclosed that over 3,000 constituents benefited from the empowerment initiative.
