Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the 2025 Women’s Yashin Trophy, the Ballon d’Or award honouring the world’s best female goalkeeper. The 24‑year‑old recently signed for Brighton Women FC from Paris FC, where she played a pivotal role in guiding her former club to its first major title in nearly twenty years .
During the Coupe de France Féminine final, Nnadozie delivered a heroic performance as Paris FC edged Paris Saint‑Germain 5–4 on penalties after a goalless draw at Stade de l’Épopée in Calais .
Internationally, she was instrumental in the Super Falcons’ triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, helping Nigeria secure a record‑extending 10th continental crown on home soil in Morocco.
