Supercomputer ranks PSG second most likely to win, just behind Chelsea.
A supercomputer has predicted the most likely winners of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup ahead of this weekend’s quarter-final fixtures. Among the final eight—Chelsea, Fluminense, Palmeiras, Paris Saint-Germain, Al-Hilal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund—Chelsea leads the forecast with a 26.44% chance of lifting the trophy. Paris Saint-Germain follows closely at 25.45%, while Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are at 16.59% and 14.78% respectively.
The quarter-final ties include Chelsea vs Fluminense, Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund, PSG vs Bayern Munich, and Palmeiras vs Al-Hilal. The predictions point to a highly competitive tournament with European clubs dominating the probabilities.
Meanwhile, Juventus coach Igor Tudor disclosed that ten players asked to be substituted during their 1-0 loss to Real Madrid, citing the harsh weather conditions. “It was 31°C with high humidity really difficult,” Tudor said, attributing the team’s struggle to the challenging climate.
