Brazil’s former president Jair Bolsonaro was ordered Friday to wear an ankle monitor, stop using social media and avoid contact with diplomats and allies, including his son.

Brazil’s Supreme Court (STF) ordered police raids on former President Bolsonaro today and forced him to wear an ankle monitor.
They also banned him from contacting foreign officials and using social media.

Brazil’s Supreme Court (STF) ordered police raids on former President Bolsonaro today and forced him to wear an ankle monitor.
They also banned him from contacting foreign officials and using social media.
Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes called Bolsonaro’s contacts with Trump “a threat to national sovereignty.”
Trump is putting high tariffs on Brazil partly do to what he considers political persecution of Bolsonaro by President Lula and the Supreme Court, which is trying to put Bolsonaro behind bars for more than 20 years on the charge of having knowledge of an effort to launch a state coup against President Lula.
