“The unofficial game was played in three 30-minute sections and was meant to be kept a secret.”

Switzerland’s women’s national team, led by Alisha Lehmann, suffered a 7-1 defeat to Luzern’s Under-15 boys in a behind-closed-doors friendly ahead of Euro 2025.

The unofficial match, played in three 30-minute periods, was intended to remain confidential, but footage accidentally posted on TikTok revealed the lopsided result.

According to Swiss outlet Blick, the clip showed Lehmann and teammate Alayah Pilgrim on the pitch. The video garnered over 70,000 views before being taken down.

The Swiss team had previously lost 2-1 to FC Solothurn’s U15s and defeated FC Biel’s U15s 2-1 during camp.

Swiss FA spokesperson Sven Micosse said, “It’s not uncommon in women’s football to compete against junior teams. The goal: to bring a certain competitive element… regardless of the result, these training matches are very similar to our international matches in terms of intensity and mileage.”

Switzerland will play a friendly against Czechia next before facing Norway in their Euro 2025 opener on July 2.
