Sylvester Stallone has remembered Hulk Hogan as “in a class of his own” while reflecting on their time filming Rocky III…

In the new documentary TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan, Stallone recalled working with the wrestling legend, who died on July 24 at age 71 after a heart attack at his Clearwater, Florida, home. Hogan made his acting debut in 1982 as Thunderlips, a wrestling champion, in an exhibition match opposite Stallone’s Rocky Balboa.

“He was always self-deprecating, loud, welcoming,” Stallone said. “There’s certain people … that have a light. There’s a glow. They just have it.” Stallone noted Hogan’s care for others on set, adding, “He was so incredibly concerned about my welfare and not his own.”

Hogan once revealed he was fired from wrestling for taking the role, as “back in the day, the barbaric thinking was – wrestlers don’t do movies.”

Following his death, Stallone paid tribute, saying, “He was absolutely wonderful and his amazing skill made ‘Rocky’ three incredibly special. My heart breaks.”
