Transport unionist, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, and the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) are preparing to launch a new socio-political movement to galvanise support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Transport union leader MC Oluomo and the NURTW have unveiled the Team Nigeria Project (TNP), a socio-political movement to rally support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.
At a Lagos press briefing, TNP spokesperson Olamilekan Pedro praised Tinubu’s economic reforms, citing subsidy removal, naira stability, and infrastructure upgrades. “Nigeria has seen an economic turnaround… states now receive more funds for development,” he said.
The group plans nationwide mobilisation, targeting women and youth, with an Abuja launch next month. Pedro claimed reduced insecurity and food import reliance justify Tinubu’s second term.
