Olawale Fadare described NELFUND as a transformative initiative aligning with President Tinubu’s vision to expand educational access and ease financial hardship for tertiary students.

The Personal Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on General Duties, Olawale Fadare, has commended the Federal Government’s education financing initiative through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), describing it as a life-changing opportunity for indigent tertiary students.

Speaking with journalists, Fadare praised President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying it is already delivering tangible benefits to critical sectors, particularly education. He noted that the interest-free loan scheme has been widely embraced for easing financial burdens and expanding access to higher education.

“I am particularly elated by the impact the educational loan is having on the lives of students. It aligns with the President’s commitment to leaving no stone unturned in national development,” Fadare said.

He urged Nigerians, especially youths, to support the administration’s reform agenda, describing it as transformative and responsive. NELFUND, launched under the Tinubu administration, provides interest-free loans to students in public tertiary institutions.
