He further explained that the issues between Fubara and Wike were internal, referring to them as a “boy and oga” situation.

Government Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, has confirmed that efforts are underway to reinstate Siminalayi Fubara as the governor of Rivers State.

In an interview with Arise TV, Tompolo assured that both President Bola Tinubu and Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, are working towards resolving the political crisis.

“The duly elected governor of Rivers is coming back,” Tompolo stated. He further explained that the issues between Fubara and Wike were internal, referring to them as a “boy and oga” situation.

Following Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in March, which led to Fubara’s suspension, protests have erupted across Rivers.

However, Tompolo expressed confidence that Fubara would soon return to office.

He added, “We are doing everything, including the president and Wike.”
