Spurs reach deal with West Ham as Kudus prioritises north London switch.

Tottenham Hotspur have reached a £55 million ($74.7m) agreement to sign Ghana international Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United. The 24-year-old is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday ahead of signing a six-year contract with Spurs.

Kudus, who has made clear his preference for a move to north London, scored five goals and provided four assists in 35 Premier League appearances last season.

Although West Ham initially rejected a £50m offer, negotiations progressed with Spurs eager to boost their forward line.

Kudus’ current contract, which runs until 2028, includes a buyout clause activated only in early July.

Tottenham are also finalising a permanent deal for Mathys Tel and exploring other attacking options.
