DHS says Roland Beainy’s green card will be revoked after alleged immigration fraud.
The co-owner of Trump Burger, a Texas-based fast-food chain themed after Donald Trump, is under investigation by U.S. immigration authorities and faces potential deportation. Roland Beainy, a Lebanese national who moved to the U.S. in 2019, allegedly submitted false information on an immigration application and is accused of marriage fraud.
“The Department of Homeland Security has zero tolerance for immigration fraud,” a DHS spokesperson told Newsweek, confirming that Beainy’s green card is set to be revoked. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service reportedly found no lease or supporting documents to validate his marital status.
Beainy, who owns 50% of Trump Burger, is also embroiled in lawsuits related to the company’s ownership. One legal complaint alleges Beainy misrepresented his role in the business.
Trump Burger, which operates four locations in Texas, has received a cease-and-desist letter from the Trump Organization over brand misuse.
Beainy has not commented publicly. An immigration court hearing is scheduled for November 18.
