Trump orders DOJ to probe Epstein’s ties to JPMorgan Chase, Clinton, Summers, and others, following House Oversight email release.

President Donald Trump announced Friday that he would request the Justice Department investigate the connections between financier Jeffrey Epstein and JPMorgan Chase, along with several political figures. On Truth Social, Trump compared the Epstein scandal to the “Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats.”

“I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him,” he wrote.

JPMorgan said it regrets its past association with Epstein, which ended in 2013. The directive follows the House Oversight Committee releasing over 20,000 emails from Epstein’s estate, some referencing Trump. Epstein, who killed himself in 2019, had long-standing ties to prominent figures in politics and finance.
