The ceasefire collapsed when Israel accused Iran of firing two missiles, prompting Israeli retaliation that killed five in Beersheba. Iran denied involvement.
Trump’s apparent reversal confused Israeli officials, who initially believed Washington backed their response. “Those who want to respond… act immediately,” a government source said.
