Trump has demanded Iran’s unconditional surrender and warned its Supreme Leader is an “easy target,” as tensions between Tehran, Israel, and Washington escalate.
President Donald Trump on Tuesday demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender” and warned that U.S. forces may target Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei if Iran continues attacking Israeli civilians or threatens American troops in the region.
“We know exactly where” Khamenei is “hiding,” Trump posted on Truth Social, calling him an “easy target” but saying the U.S. is “not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now.”
He continued, “Our patience is wearing thin… Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Moments later, he posted: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”
Trump also claimed America and its allies have achieved “complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” praising the superiority of “American made” Israeli military equipment.
Despite earlier denials of U.S. involvement, Trump’s comments and recent military deployments suggest Washington could join Israel’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear program.
A major obstacle remains Iran’s Fordow facility, which may require U.S. “bunker-buster” bombs, not available in Israel’s arsenal.
