Trump says the US will kill “narcoterrorists” as heavy bombers fly near Venezuela amid growing tensions with President Nicolás Maduro.

The United States has deployed two supersonic bombers near Venezuela after President Donald Trump vowed to kill “narcoterrorists.”

US officials said the flight was part of a Caribbean operation targeting alleged drug traffickers. Similar missions were conducted earlier this month.

President Trump, speaking to reporters, said, “I think we’re just going to kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. OK? We’re going to kill them.”

Washington claims the strikes, which have hit at least 10 vessels and killed 43 people since September, are part of an anti-cartel campaign. However, critics say no evidence has been presented to justify the killings.

Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said, “We will find you, we will map your networks, we will hunt you down, and we will kill you.”

Venezuela and Colombia have condemned the operations, calling them unlawful and warning they violate international law. President Nicolás Maduro said his forces are ready to respond to any US aggression.
