He slammed a Fox News poll and denied claims from a WSJ report on Iran attack plans.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has extended his long-running feud with mainstream media to include conservative outlets Fox News and the Wall Street Journal. In a series of posts on Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump blasted Fox News over what he called “Crazy Fox News polls,” accusing the network of consistent bias and claiming, “MAGA hates Fox News.”
He criticised a poll showing him with only 50% approval on border security, arguing the border is “miraculously perfect,” and claimed no illegal immigrants crossed this month—unlike the 60,000 who did under President Biden a year ago.
Trump also rebuked the Wall Street Journal for reporting that he approved, but delayed, plans for an attack on Iran. “They have absolutely no idea what my thoughts are,” Trump said.
He accused the WSJ editorial board of being “overwhelmingly anti-Trump,” citing past criticism, including over tariffs. Known for his unpredictability, Trump’s comments left observers unsure if the Iran threat was serious or strategic posturing.
