Donald Trump has sparked fresh health concerns after confessing he’s worried about not getting into heaven, leading to speculation that “he knows he’s dying”. The president disclosed on Tuesday that he hopes negotiating peace between Ukraine and Russia will improve his odds of passing through the pearly gates. “I want to try to get to heaven if possible, I’m hearing that I’m not doing well,” Trump told Fox and Friends just a day after welcoming European leaders, including Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to the White House.
“I am really at the bottom of the totem pole,” the president acknowledged. “But if I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons,” he continued. It comes as Trump’s niece blasts the president as a ‘pathetic creature’ easily ‘manipulated’ by Putin.
The 79-year-old’s worries about the afterlife rapidly went viral as social media users theorized that the president’s anxieties could be connected to his current health. One person posted on X: “Think of all the reasons an old man that spent his life nips deep in the Seven Deadly Sins would suddenly get desperate for absolution. And then ignore all of them except one: he knows he’s dying”.
“Trump is dying. He’s never believed in heaven before,” a second said. A third commented: “The Trump regime is a bunch of crackpots and fools! Trump with his Dementia and congestive heart failure is dying before our eyes, he will not end of in Heaven!” Another person chimed in, saying: “Mr. Trump is dying he talks about not going to heaven He acknowledges he has done a lot of SINS in order to be forgiven you have to say it Trump will know he has sin to REPENT you can’t cheat Death the time is moving not standing still can’t Fool GOD he sees All your SINS.”
In April, Trump had his annual physical and his White House physician declared him in “excellent cognitive and physical health”. His doctor, Captain Sean Barbabella, stated: “President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.”
The nearly five-hour medical exam took place at Walter Reed hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, where Trump underwent several blood tests, a cardiac examination, and ultrasounds, according to his doctor. “President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” Dr Barbabella concluded.
