President Donald Trump’s childhood home in Queens, New York, has been put back on the market for $2.3 million following an extensive renovation.

President Donald Trump’s childhood home in Jamaica Estates, Queens, has been listed for sale at $2.3 million after undergoing an eight-month renovation costing about $500,000, according to a report from PEOPLE.

The Tudor-style house, built in 1940 by Trump’s father Fred, was where the former president lived until the age of four. The current owner, real-estate developer Tommy Lin, told the Journal he bought the home in poor condition, saying, “There was no water in the house, no power… It was not livable.”

Lin’s upgrades transformed the property with modern amenities while maintaining its original façade and heating stove. The home now features five bedrooms, three full and two half baths, a sunroom, and 2,500 square feet of living space spread across three floors.

Brown Harris Stevens, the real estate firm handling the listing, described the property as “modern, elegant, and spacious,” with herringbone hardwood floors, custom millwork, and smart-home systems.

The house has changed hands multiple times since Trump’s 2016 election, including several auctions and short-term rentals. Lin emphasized his purchase was not politically motivated but inspired by the property’s historical value.
