He cited worrying behavioral changes in the President, saying, “He just can’t stick to a message. And he used to be able to.”
US President Donald Trump is once again facing questions over his mental fitness after his nephew, Fred Trump III, raised fresh concerns about possible dementia.
Speaking on The Dean Obeidallah Show on Sirius XM, Fred noted that dementia runs in the Trump family, referencing their grandfather Fred Sr., who battled Alzheimer’s before his death in 1999.
“You know, Donald said, ‘Oh, my father was tiptop until the end.’ I can assure you, that was not the case,” Fred said. “I know what I saw in my grandfather… and in Donald’s older sister Maryanne.”
He also cited worrying behavioral changes in the President, saying, “He just can’t stick to a message. And he used to be able to.”
Fred’s remarks come amid ongoing scrutiny of Trump’s mental state, especially as he previously used similar arguments against President Biden.
The claims add to public debate over age and cognitive health in American presidential politics.
