Sources tell me the FBI had texts and other communications between Robinson and the individual that helped FBI authorities solidify that Robinson was indeed the shooter.

The FBI says communications between Tyler Robinson and his transgender partner helped confirm his role in the murder of Charlie Kirk.

The transgender partner of Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk, is cooperating fully with federal investigators.

According to sources, the FBI obtained texts and other communications between Robinson and the individual that were key to confirming his role in the shooting.

Robinson was arrested Friday on suspicion of capital murder, felony discharge of a weapon causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice, though federal charges are expected.

A family member tipped off police after Robinson confessed, prompting his father, a veteran officer, to confront him. Investigators also revealed the weapon recovered near the scene contained cartridges etched with symbols tied to transgender and Antifa ideology.
