Sky Italy reported that Al-Hilal is reportedly willing to offer Victor Osimhen £22 million a year tax-free, with a breakdown of £ 425,000 a week, which is equivalent to approximately ₦44 billion a year, but the Super Eagles striker seems to have his eyes set on plying his trade in Europe next season.

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, worth ₦44 billion annually. Sky Italy reports that the tax-free deal included £425,000 per week, but the Nigerian forward is focused on continuing his career in Europe.

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano revealed that the proposed deal with Al-Hilal is “on the verge of collapse” as Osimhen could not reach an agreement with the Saudi club. Despite being out of favour at Napoli, the 26-year-old is unwilling to move outside Europe’s top leagues. “The deal is on the verge of collapse,” Romano noted.

Osimhen reignited his form during a loan spell at Galatasaray, scoring 37 goals in 32 matches and helping the Turkish side clinch both the league title and Turkish Cup. While Galatasaray are keen to sign him permanently, they face difficulties meeting Napoli’s €75 million release clause. Manchester United and Chelsea remain interested but face wage hurdles.
