Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has issued a public apology to his wife, Natasha, their children, and fans following backlash over a controversial remark on male sexuality.

During a recent podcast, the singer claimed that while a man can deeply love one woman, he is biologically inclined to desire sexual relations with others. “A man is not built to sexually be with one woman. A man can love one woman die, but it’s impossible for a man to sexually be with only one woman. It’s the biology of man,” he stated.

The comment sparked widespread criticism online, with many accusing him of endorsing infidelity.

In response, 2Baba shared an emotional video apology on Tuesday night. “I know I fuc#ked up with what I said… I apologise to my fans and most importantly, my wife, the love of my life, Natasha, and also my kids. I’m terribly sorry. That’s not who I am,” he said.
