Virginia Giuffre, one of the most prominent victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, has died by suicide at age 41. Her passing comes just weeks after she revealed in a private message that she believed she “had days to live….”

Virginia Giuffre, whose courageous testimony helped expose Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking network, died by suicide on Thursday at her home in Western Australia. She was 41 years old.

Her family confirmed the tragic news in a statement to NBC News: “It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.”

Giuffre’s death comes weeks after she publicly shared health concerns following a bus collision, though authorities have not confirmed any connection between the accident and her passing.

As one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers, Giuffre played a pivotal role in bringing the financier’s crimes to light. Her civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew resulted in a landmark settlement in 2022 and brought international attention to the survivors’ fight for justice.
