As the new European football season kicks off, Nigerian players are once again making their mark across top leagues. These stars are not just playing for their clubs but also carrying the pride of millions back home.

Here are 15 Nigerian stars to keep an eye on in the 2025/26 campaign.
1. Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray, Turkey)
Osimhen is already a hero in Turkey after a 26-goal debut season that secured Galatasaray a domestic double. Now a permanent signing, he will be expected to raise his game even further.
2. Ademola Lookman (Atalanta, Italy)
Lookman’s future is still uncertain, with Inter Milan circling. But one thing is sure: his electrifying runs and direct play make him one of Serie A’s most dangerous forwards.
3. Tolu Arokodare (Genk, Belgium)
The tall striker has already opened his scoring account. His aerial dominance and sharp finishing will be key if he stays injury-free.
4. Wilfred Ndidi (Beşiktaş, Turkey)
